Telescopic Contact Thermometer
Introduction
The Contact Thermometer is a measurement tool, which is used to measure the shaft temperature off kiln support rollers with a high accuracy. The temperature on the different areas of the roller shafts, mainly on the thrust collar, gives an indication of the thrust load of a roller. This method is used to distribute the axial kiln load evenly among the different support rollers.
Measuring Principle
A one channel temperature measuring instrument with a special inclined thermocouple probe to have access directly on the kiln support roller shaft and its thrust collar . Current measurement data as well as max/min data can be displayed on the instrument. A telescopic handle facilitates the measurement.
